A New Chapter: Built by Brand Nib
Macro Pakistani is an independent publication dedicated to making Pakistan’s economy understandable through data, research and visual storytelling.
It builds on the legacy of Macro Pakistani (2020–2022), a publication that helped thousands of readers make sense of Pakistan’s economic landscape through accessible data visualizations and evidence-based analyses.
When the original platform became inactive in 2024, much of its digital archive (on the website built during 2020-2022) was unfortunately lost. From 2023 onward, Brand Nib continued publishing data-driven content through social media platforms of Macro Pakistani (with support from various collaborators like OICCI), helping keep the mission active in Pakistan while laying the foundation for its next chapter.
2026 and Beyond
Rather than simply recreating what once existed, we chose to build something stronger. Since 2023, Macro Pakistani was solely being operated by Brand Nib, the creative and data visualization studio behind hundreds of economic graphics, and institutional communication projects.
Over the years, Brand Nib has transformed complex datasets into visual stories for public institutions, businesses and development organizations. That experience now forms the editorial foundation of Macro Pakistani.
Our mission has extended beyond social media as we relaunch the website for those who want to learn about Pakistan’s economy through data, but in an easy way!
